In the summer, you can enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, four wheeling, hiking, and biking, and winter with its snow fall includes snowboarding, skiing, ice skating, and snow machining, just to mention a few. Wasilla is approximately 40 miles from Anchorage; home of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race, and the Tesoro Iron Dog Race, a 1000 mile race through rugged Alaskan terrain. Whatever it is you like to do this is the place where dreams can come true.
